A technique used for minor skin blemishes, outlined below, that uses a mild current to coagulate blood and diffuse blemish.  Quantity and length of treatments is determined at a consultation. Proper before and after care is imperative due to the sensitive nature of the skin.

There are general contraindications to treatments, therefore consultations are necessary for all of these conditions.

Skin tags

Skin tags are benign skin growths common to many people and of all ages. Skin tags can have a small or large base.  They are usually the same colour as the skin or darker.   Skin tags are removed by High Frequency heat that forms a small scab which in turn, falls off in 3-7 days.

Skin tags form on many different parts of the body and can be removed in one to three sessions depending on quantity.

 

RUBY POINTS

Ruby points are highly concentrated dilated capillaries and can be flat to the skin or larger and slightly raised.   They are very common and can be found on many areas of the body. They are usually treatable in one session depending on quantity.


Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic Keratosis is a common benign skin growth that appears on many areas of the body, back and chest being the most common. They have a rough warty feel to them. They range from white to black but most are a tan or brown colour These growths can be burned off and returned flush to the skin. Depending on quantity, one or more sessions may be required.


Milia

Milia, often referred to as "milk spots", are keratin-filled cysts that can appear just under the epidermis (top layer of the skin). They are common in people of all ages. Most common place of appearance is on the face. They are easily removed by electrocoagulation in one to three sessions depending on quantity.
